Hockey Random Pics!

Here are just a bunch of pictures from the end of the Rivermen season. Sort of a random collection, but that's what our family does - play hockey, watch hockey on TV and go to hockey games! We all enjoy it and it's something we can do as a family!

Justin and his godfather :)

Uncle Mikey and his favorite nephews!

Mason with his Uncle Mikey

Me and my boys during a post game skate with the team

Justin and Mason on the Rivermen bench boards...don't worry; someone is holding Mason up from behind the boards :)

Some people know this story and just needed the pic to complete it :) This is a chick who sits in the first row behind the bench and stalks Ryan Reeves. She got a REAL tattoo of his jersey as seen in the pic. We sat with Ryan at the end of season banquet and you are supposed to get them a little gift. I framed this pic with a border that said "Ryan's #1 fan". We also got him a real gift too, but I put a card in there that said "We've enjoyed watching you play this season....Justin really likes the hits and fights! We know there are only 10 games left, but thought you could use a picture in your locker for a good luck charm". So then he turns to Justin and says he can't wait to see the pic because he assumed it was of Justin and Mason....he was pretty surprised to see this :) All of the guys know who she is because she hangs over the tunnel every game to show everyone her tattoo. Before the end of the banquet all of the players and most people there had seen it :) I got a lot of high fives from the guys telling me that was the best present ever! Oh, and to get the pic I made up a story about how I had a friend who did tattoos in MI and wanted to start catering to the Griffins fans and wanted to see hers.... :)

Justin and Cam Paddock, one of our two adopt-a-players. He normally does not have the dirty porn stache, but he lost the monthly skills challenge with the team :)

Justin with Ben Bishop...our other adopt-a-player. He set a record in the NHL already for being the tallest goalie to ever play in the league! Rob got his goalie pants last year in the used equipment sale because they are actually long enough!

Justin striking a pose on the ice :)

Justin and the blimp

Justin and the big shoe at the civic center during ISHA State Finals week. He thought it was a game like the sneaker basketball at Chuck E. Cheese!

My happy baby at the end of season banquet :) It might be because Daddy kept giving him frosting "tastes"!

Justin and Cam - not only does he have the dirty stache, it was his birthday and the guys took him out the night before :)

Justin and Ben....notice Justin wearing my "medal" for high score for women at the Bowl-a-Thon? 188 baby :) Sure it was 9 pin no tap, but don't tell anyone!

Our family with our adopt-a-players!

Mason sticking his tongue out at Ms. Stephy :)

Ms. Stephy and her boys :) They love her so much!

Tammy's Baby Shower

On March 13, the boys and I went to Kalamazoo for my cousin Tammy's baby shower. I can't tell you how happy I am for Tammy & Jason.... They have been trying to have a baby for years and years. After a lot of heartbreak and tears, they now have a precious baby boy, Xavier. He was born at almost 28 weeks at the end of February. He has now graduated from the NICU to the step-down nursery and is doing wonderful!!! I know that Tammy is going to be a GREAT mom :)

Mason's first word :)

I'm still don't think he's actually "saying" it, but I'll take it :) He melted my heart when he started doing it!

Rivermen Post Game Skate

I am so behind on pics, but work is CRAZY right now and I am not going to have time this week to catch up.....BUT - here are a few to tide you over that a friend took a couple of weekends ago at the Rivermen post game skate and a few of Justin when he played during the Rivermen intermission. Enjoy!

Mason's 6 month check-up

I know I need to catch up on the last month...and I will as soon as I find time :( I am at work right now (yes; Saturday) trying to catch up on that aspect of life. Things are just crazy busy!

I wanted to jot down Mason's 6 month stats though so I don't forget!

He had his doctors appt yesterday and he is 20 lb 6 oz and 27 1/2" long and 17 3/4" head circumference. He is between 75-80% on the charts for all three so he's perfect! He is SUCH a happy, smiley baby ALL of the time. He got one of his top teeth in Las Vegas and the other one finally poked through Thursday night. He's drooling like crazy, but not crabby from it!

He can now roll both ways and he also scoots himself around in a 360 degree circle. He LOVES his Jumperoo and goes crazy in it. I'll try to get video! His favorite thing in the whole world though is his brother. He adores Justin. Justin does not take the time to sit and talk to him too often, but when he does Mason just lights up! Justin is getting better at it now that he sees it gets a smile or laugh out of him. I think he likes that he's communicating back. He also will give him a ball and let Mason "throw" it back to him :) I think they are going to be best buddies!
