This year for Mothers Day Weekend, the Brooks clan all came to Peoria! Kent, Sue, Godsie and Bob came from Big Rapids and Kurt and Ash came up from St. Louis. We had a great time! The weather was PERFECT……
Friday evening we got all of the yard work done and cleaned the house so we could enjoy the rest of the weekend. My boys got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers too – nothing prettier than a clean kitchen with fresh flowers!
Saturday we went to Justin’s soccer game and then sat out on the patio ALL day. The guys went golfing and we just hung out. For dinner we grilled out chicken and ribs and ended the night with some intense games of Left, Right Center 
Sunday morning, me, Rob, Kent and Justin went golfing. Justin did SO SO SO good! We would drop his ball about 30 yards from the green and he did great! I was so proud of him. He keeps asking to go again – I guess twice in two days was not enough! After golf everyone headed home and me, Rob and the boys went to BWW for lunch. Mason needed a nap so we were nervous of how he’d be, but he was an ANGEL. Probably the best he’s ever been in a restaurant. He must have known it was Mothers Day! When we got home Rob and Justin washed my truck for me – inside and out. It’s like brand new again! I love it! Then we just had dinner and watched the Red Wings…..perfect day!!!

Back at the end of March, Gramma Airplane came to visit us for 10 days – it was so nice! The boys were so excited to see her!! I was so happy. After what happened earlier this year I was so scared that the boys wouldn’t get a chance to see her again. I remember kissing and hugging Mason the night I was leaving to meet Aunt Connie for our flight to Vegas and I couldn’t stop crying at the thought of him not even remembering who my mom was. So many prayers were answered that we don’t have to worry about that anymore!!!
