Before we headed back to Chicago on Tuesday, we met the Fossitt's in Battle Creek for lunch. It was SO GOOD to see them and meet Jalen! I really wish we would have had more time to catch up!

Jalen is absolutely beautiful! She is so tiny; especially compared to Justin!

Visit to Great-Great Grandma Bowen's House

We went to visit Justin's Great-Great Grandma Bowen on Christmas Eve day. She was very happy to see him again! We had fun looking at the old family pictures on her wall. I will have to dig some up someday and post them...like my mom's band picture from high school!

My grandparents feed the ducks everyday and Justin LOVED watching them. We were out there for a long time and he did not take his eyes off of them the entire time!!! Next year he'll be out there chasing them :)

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago but never posted it because Grandpa Brooks got a 5x7" picture for his office for Christmas and we didn't want him to see it! This outfit doubles as a "wish I was in the UP outfit" and a "can't wait to play in the pole barn with my Grandpa Brooks outfit". He does NOT like hats, but he humored me for the picture!!
