Back to work....

Monday was my first day back to work. My maternity leave FLEW BY!!!

Here are a few pictures from Monday when Grandma Metzler was here babysitting. Thank you for coming to visit us and help us out !! We really appreciate it :)

His belly is not really this big; it must be the way he is sitting!

Grandma playing with his hair...I think she should stick to doing nails :)

This is the view from Justin's nursery. We have never let the dogs in this room because we knew that it would someday be the nursery. They are pretty good about staying out, except when Justin is crying. Tucker (his protector) has to come and make sure he's okay but then he leaves when we point to the door. Whenever Rob or I are in there, this is how they lay...just outside his door.

Mommy and Justin hanging out after my first day back to work. I was sooo happy to come home and see him. This is going to be really hard, but we'll get through it!

Don't Blink!!!

I can't believe how fast Justin is growing!!! It feels like we just brought him home yesterday.

In the last month and 5 days he:

*Has outgrown Size 1 diapers

*Eats more than 4 oz (so I have to use the big bottles)

*Has outgrown his Size 3 month Baby Gap clothes (some Carters 3 month still fits)

This outfit he is wearing is a 6 MONTH! The legs won't even fit him for much longer.... What happened to my baby???

Friday the 13th....

....and the last day of my maternity leave; coincidence??? I still have 2 weeks of working from home, so I don't have to leave Justin yet but I still need to spend time working instead of shopping, watching TV, etc.

Here are a few pictures from the last few days!

Going to Jersey's to watch the Tigers game with Tom & Lori. We couldn't find a Tigers outfit when we were in MI, but this orange and blue Adidas outfit will have to do - Go Tigers & Bears!!!

Chilling with my daddy....

All warm and snuggly!

Talking to my mommy....or getting ready to yawn :)

Such a serious face!!!!

Baby It's Cold Outside....

Today we got our first taste of winter.... I loved it!!! The dogs did too; they were outside for hours (even Quincy!!).

Best buddies!
Keeping an eye on his buddy!
Our 3 boys....sorry it's upside down :)

Today we put Justin under his activity gym that Lynnea got him...he LOVED it. It keeps him entertained for quite a while!! He kept looking at the duck today like he wanted to get it so bad; and then he figured out that he could touch it! It might be a reflex, but he seemed pretty proud of himself :)

One month check-up

I can't believe that Justin is more than a month old already!!!

We went to the doctors office today for his one month check-up. I thought he was going to have to get shots, but that is next month. He is 23 1/2" long (90th percentile) and 11 pounds (75th percentile). He was such a good boy at the appointment!!

Here are a few pictures; they were all so cute I couldn't pick just one!!

Pumpkin Farm!

On Sunday we went to the Pumpkin Farm near our house. It was fun, but the pictures didn't turn out very good because Justin can't sit up very well yet! The weather was perfect! He'll have more fun the older he gets, because they have hay rides, pony rides, camel rides, petting zoo, etc. Maybe next year!

Saturday Adventures

Justin and I got back from Michigan Friday night. He was SO GOOD on the ride home! We left Bay City at 10:30am Michigan time and went to Big Rapids to have lunch with Grandpa and Grandma Brooks. We had fun and surprised Grandpa Brooks at his office...thanks for helping Tracy!! Then from Big Rapids we made it all the way to Michigan City until he started crying. We went to McDonalds and I fed and changed him and he did not cry at all the rest of the way; even through Chicago traffic at rush hour! What an angel :)

We had a fun family day today!

The Barrington Broncos won their football game 21-6 and now have a record of 6-1....looks like we should be heading to the playoffs! Two more regular season games left.

After the game we went to Circuit City and bought a new camera. Our old one takes really good pictures, but it takes too long for the picture to take with all of the flashes. So now we should be able to capture all of the cute Justin moments and not miss them becuase the camera is too slow!

We ended the day at BW3's (Buffalo Wild Wings) for dinner. We watched the Tigers win the series against the Yankees! It was Justin's first trip to BW3's, but surely not the last! Right now the closest BW's is about 30 minutes away, but there is one that is about 5 miles from our house opening on October 15th!!! We can't wait :)

Here are a couple of pictures; we'll take more soon with our new camera!!!

Trip to Bay City...

On Tuesday morning, Justin and I decided we were going to take a little trip to Bay City! Justin got to meet his Great Grandpa and Grandma Metzler. We are having a great time, but we really miss Daddy and I hope he misses us! We are leaving here tomorrow to get back by the time Daddy gets home from football practice. That is if my truck starts; Grandma Metzler keeps telling Justin she's going to disable something in it so we can't go home!

Saturday the Barrington Broncos are going to try to extend the record to 6-1! I think that we might take a trip to the pumpkin patch too...Look for pictures next week!!!

Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days...

Tyler and Heather's Wedding

We had a busy weekend! We were in Gurnee, IL on Saturday morning at 7:30am for the Bronco's football game. We won 27-0, so that was a great start to the weekend! The boys are 5-1!

We got to Green Bay mid-afternoon and checked into the hotel. Justin was such a good rider all the way there! He slept almost the whole reception too! I don't know how he could sleep with music and lights and people, but he did! We had a great time; here are some pictures!
