Couple of weekend pics...

Rob and I went to the Improv Comedy Club at Woodfield on Saturday night to celebrate our birthdays (mine was Saturday, his is Thursday). We saw Frank Caliendo; he's on FOX NFL Sunday every week. He is known for his voices and expressions that he does; it was a GREAT show! Here is a picture of us with him after the show.

Friday Night fun!

Friday night we went to the new BW3's by our house with Uncle Dave, Brandon and Alec (Blake had a soccer game) and then to the Grand Opening of the Sears Centre. Aunt Connie and Uncle Dave have a box there with GREAT seats! I am sure Justin will be at a few games...they have Indoor Soccer, Arena Football, Lacrosse and Hockey (same league as the Flint Generals and Kalamazoo Wings). They are also holding concerts and other events there too! The nicest part is that it's only a couple of miles from our house!

More pictures

Looking for Tucker..... He loves watching the dogs!

Hanging out with my Grandma Metzler....

Smile...you're on camera!

I don't know at what age babies start to smile on purpose rather than because they just passed gas, but I think Justin did today! This morning I changed his diaper and started playing "pat-a-cake" with his feet and he got the biggest smile on his face! Rob got the camera and he did it a few more times. Then tonight Rob was playing with him and he was smiling again, but I couldn't get a picture at the right time.

Back to work....

Monday was my first day back to work. My maternity leave FLEW BY!!!

Here are a few pictures from Monday when Grandma Metzler was here babysitting. Thank you for coming to visit us and help us out !! We really appreciate it :)

His belly is not really this big; it must be the way he is sitting!

Grandma playing with his hair...I think she should stick to doing nails :)

This is the view from Justin's nursery. We have never let the dogs in this room because we knew that it would someday be the nursery. They are pretty good about staying out, except when Justin is crying. Tucker (his protector) has to come and make sure he's okay but then he leaves when we point to the door. Whenever Rob or I are in there, this is how they lay...just outside his door.

Mommy and Justin hanging out after my first day back to work. I was sooo happy to come home and see him. This is going to be really hard, but we'll get through it!

Don't Blink!!!

I can't believe how fast Justin is growing!!! It feels like we just brought him home yesterday.

In the last month and 5 days he:

*Has outgrown Size 1 diapers

*Eats more than 4 oz (so I have to use the big bottles)

*Has outgrown his Size 3 month Baby Gap clothes (some Carters 3 month still fits)

This outfit he is wearing is a 6 MONTH! The legs won't even fit him for much longer.... What happened to my baby???

Friday the 13th....

....and the last day of my maternity leave; coincidence??? I still have 2 weeks of working from home, so I don't have to leave Justin yet but I still need to spend time working instead of shopping, watching TV, etc.

Here are a few pictures from the last few days!

Going to Jersey's to watch the Tigers game with Tom & Lori. We couldn't find a Tigers outfit when we were in MI, but this orange and blue Adidas outfit will have to do - Go Tigers & Bears!!!

Chilling with my daddy....

All warm and snuggly!

Talking to my mommy....or getting ready to yawn :)

Such a serious face!!!!

Baby It's Cold Outside....

Today we got our first taste of winter.... I loved it!!! The dogs did too; they were outside for hours (even Quincy!!).

Quincy and Tucker in the snow....

Best buddies!
Keeping an eye on his buddy!
Our 3 boys....sorry it's upside down :)

Today we put Justin under his activity gym that Lynnea got him...he LOVED it. It keeps him entertained for quite a while!! He kept looking at the duck today like he wanted to get it so bad; and then he figured out that he could touch it! It might be a reflex, but he seemed pretty proud of himself :)

One month check-up

I can't believe that Justin is more than a month old already!!!

We went to the doctors office today for his one month check-up. I thought he was going to have to get shots, but that is next month. He is 23 1/2" long (90th percentile) and 11 pounds (75th percentile). He was such a good boy at the appointment!!

Here are a few pictures; they were all so cute I couldn't pick just one!!

Pumpkin Farm!

On Sunday we went to the Pumpkin Farm near our house. It was fun, but the pictures didn't turn out very good because Justin can't sit up very well yet! The weather was perfect! He'll have more fun the older he gets, because they have hay rides, pony rides, camel rides, petting zoo, etc. Maybe next year!
