Baptism

Sunday was Justin's baptism. It was a weekend full of lots of family and friends!

The Brooks Family before the baptism

Amanda, Ryan, Melissa, Justin, Rob, Mikey, Sandra, Alec, Brandon, Morgan, Megan and Blake

Justin's Godparents - Aunt Connie and Uncle Mikey

The extended Brooks family - Bob, Kent, Melissa, Justin, Rob, Sue and Godsie

The Metzler Family - Ryan, Mom, Amanda, Melissa, Justin, Rob, Dad, Sandra & Mike Jr.

Getting baptised into the Holy Family Catholic Parish.... He was the only baby to be immersed. We had the choice to just do a little water on his head or the full immersion. He cried a little bit, but not too much!

Thank you so much to everyone who made the trip to Chicago to share in Justin's special day. It really means a lot to us!

A HUGE thank you to Uncle Dave, Aunt Connie, Brandon, Blake and Alec for having the party at your home after the church and for helping with the food, drinks, etc. It is much appreciated!

Thanks to Mom and Dad Metzler and Ryan and Amanda for coming on Friday to help us shop, cook, prepare the food and get ready for the party. Also, to Grandma Rosebush and Grandma Metzler for making salads and desserts...everything was very yummy!!

With working full time and a new baby Rob and I couldn't have done it without all of your help!

Congrats on the baptism. Noah's isn't until January b/c of all the Godparent drama:(

Ditto on the Bundle Me. They are the greatest invention!

..and ditto on the hungry baby syndrome. Maybe it's a boy thing, but Noah is a HOG!
