Weekend at the Brooks House!

This was a very busy weekend! We are in our new house!!!!! Yeah :) On Saturday they came and loaded the truck and were supposed to deliver today (Monday), but the guys wanted to get it done, so they asked if they could drive to Peoria and unload on Saturday as well - of course we said yes! I felt guilty though when they were doing all of the work. I have never had movers before - none that we paid anyways :) They put the boxes and furniture in whatever room we asked them to and they put the crib and beds together for us too! It was really nice!

Saturday evening Grandpa Brooks and his friend John stopped by to see us on their way back from Iowa. I felt bad because most of our stuff was still packed, so I wasn't a very good hostess! We had a nice time though with take out from this great little Italian restaurant that is down by the marina.

Sunday morning we went to Bob Evans with Grandpa and John and then they headed home. We went home and unpacked some more stuff while Justin took a nap and then we headed to the Pumpin Farm! It was a perfect day for it - about 70 and sunny. We had a nice time!

If you look close you can see the deer in our next door neighbor's back yard. I was so excited! We're not really in the country, but it's more country than we are used to. We get the dogs back Saturday, so I am sure the deer will probably find another yard to roam in!

Today Justin started at PALS. We love it there. They are wonderful, the place is so clean and nice, the teachers are wonderful - it's great!

Justin with Ms. Nancy, his teacher. She's such a sweetheart! I don't know how long he'll be there though. They say 15 months until they go to the toddler room, but Rob and I don't think they know what they are in for!!!! :)
