The excerpt below is from a Yahoo Sports article about Michael Vick being indited on dog fighting charges.... I predicted this would happen way back when he was first charged - Go Joey :) (For those of you who don't know, I am a huge Joey Harrington fan despite what my husband, brothers, grandfathers, uncles, etc have to say about him!!!!!)
"If Vick is suspended for any length of time, the Falcons are likely to turn to backup quarterback Joey Harrington as the starter. Regardless, Vick's progress under new coach Bobby Petrino is expected to be thwarted as he deals with all the legal issues associated with the indictment."
Even if this does not mean that Joey starts, I hope that Michael Vick becomes someone's little "pet" in jail - he deserves it! With the evidence they have I don't believe in the whole 'innocent until proven guilty' theory.

I like Joey too. I know he got a lot of crap in Detroit, but it wasn't realistic that a rookie was going to turn the Lions around. He's just a baby, I think he has a lot of potential.
I love Joey! Did you know that he is an amazing piano player? One of the pastors at our church is the Lion's chaplin so a couple times a years some players come and do the message. He came and they started the service with him playing, it was awesome! I liked him even more after I heard what he had to say, to bad he's not in Detroit anymore
He is a great piano player...he has clips on his website. www.joeyharrington3.com There are video clips of him playing with Blues Traveler too! If you go to the "drawing" tab you'll see that I won the autographed picture of him in Oct. 05 :) We have the same birthday so I think that's why I won!
