Since I can never come up with cool names for my posts, I have decided to use "The Hills" - after my new favorite reality show...plus we live in The Hills now (Germantown Hills, not Hollywood though!) :)
This weekend was fun! Katie and Josh came over for dinner on Friday night and we had a great time (PS. The lasagna noodles were just fine!), then Saturday morning me and Justin went to a craft show at the GT Hills Middle School, then in the afternoon we went to the Metamora HS football game (they won 48-12! 2 more games until the state finals!), then Saturday night we just hung out. Sunday was football and shopping. I used the Tylenol coupon that Katie gave us the link to and got 20 free bottles! I am going to go get more at another Walgreens this week!
I have a huge pre-purchase job (needs to be bonded - aka don't mess up your bid!) that I have to drop off tomorrow on my way out of town at 9am. I am working on it now and will be so glad when it's signed, sealed and delivered! I have to go to the Chicago office for training on Tuesday afternoon and then to the USGBC (US Green Building Council) seminar on Wednesday morning downtown Chicago..then back home! I can't wait until Wednesday night when I am back home again!
I am working at the kitchen table and a 7 or 8 point buck just ran across the neighbors yard - Q&T are going crazy! Hope he's still around after hunting season starts!
Here is a video from yesterday. All weekend I would ask Justin "Are you ready for some football" and he answered with "YEAH!". So then it turned into "are you ready for some cereal / naptime / bedtime / dinner / etc". I thought it was cute, so here's a little clip. The picture is him curled up on the couch when he didn't feel too well - we think that his molars were hurting him on Saturday night...poor baby!
Google Video won't let me upload the video...I'll add it as an edit to this post later if it's back up and working. Sorry!
*Edit* Here it is :)
Oh - and one more thing! I know that a lot of friends who read this might already collect Box Tops for their kids school, but for my family on here can you PLEASE save your Box Tops for Education that comes on a lot of food boxes? Justin's new daycare participates and they get 10 cents for each one. Rob and I can not say enough about how much we LOVE his new daycare so if we can help them out with something that we normally throw away anyways, why not do it?? Thanks so much!
